Uniting Innovators to Save Corals
Coral Research & Development Accelerator Platform (CORDAP)—a KAUST-supported initiative—was launched to foster worldwide collaboration on developing solutions to coral conservation practitioners. CORDAP is:
  • Solely R&D-focused
  • Transdisciplinary and international
  • Committed to scalable solutions
  • Open to any organization to participate and use CORDAP-developed solutions
Initiated by the G20, CORDAP’s members comprise 14 countries and its advisory members include nine NGOs including the Coral Restoration Consortium and the International Coral Reef Society. KAUST supports all of CORDAP’s operations and currently acts as the platform’s Central Node.
